Importing or Copying content from another Course/Book

The Course Administrators can copy units and their associated learning items (content, tests, sessions, assignments) from any course/book to another published and   unpublished courses/books. It is possible to import learning items to published and unpublished courses/books. You can only import content from the same learning resource type. Eg., If you are creating a self-paced course, you can only import content from another self-paced course. You may also import selected learning items from another learning resource into a specific unit. The questions related to the tests of the selected units will be imported to this course. 

  • Go to Manage Courses > Self-paced Courses > Edit Course
  • Click Import units button
  • In the pop-up, select the published course to import from
  • Click the units and learning items that has to be imported
  • Click Import button
